Hey Mentor is an innovative online education platform designed to empower individuals to produce, share, and monetize short video courses. The platform focuses on bridging the gap between social media engagement and educational content delivery.

Background

I was tasked with creating the front-end of the sign-in page within 1 week. By researching best IDEs and languages and discussing with my colleagues, we decided to use React, TailwindCSS, and Vite to carry out the front end experience of the website.

Overview

I translated Figma wireframes into a pixel-accurate sign-in interface, integrated visual assets, implemented form validation, and ensured responsive styling for desktop users. I also collaborated closely with the UI designer to apply accessibility best practices and maintain visual consistency. Additionally, I troubleshooted layout issues and refined the component structure to support scalability across future pages of the platform.

Responsibilities

I delivered a high-fidelity, reusable sign-in component that aligned with Hey Mentor’s brand and functional requirements. In doing so, I helped lay the foundation for a scalable front-end architecture to support the platform’s future growth. I also contributed documentation and styling guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of maintenance for future developers.
